With 2025 Laarbruch Reunion being such an outstanding success we are doing it again...
With such a response from all that attended, TB and myself (TC), have been ordered by the group that attended to do it all over again. So I have been in contact with the Yew Lodge hotel to sort the 2026 reunion.
The event will have a FRIDAY night themed Buffet. So 2026 will be a TRAMP and TRAMPESS night. No need to dress up. This time you dress down. Then on the SATURDAY night it will be a smart casual sit down three course meal.

The Royal Air Force Police Reunion, for all those who served at Laarbruch is now ON.
The Big and maybe last bash, for the RAFP Reunion event has been organised for all you “sand bagger’s” who want another larger reunion like the one that was organised by the late Steve Silver. These were in Sheffield in the early 2000’s. It is open to all ex RAF Police service personnel, who served at RAF Laarbruch. (This includes partners of those who served). Rekindling former work and friend relationships.
The venue is at Yew Lodge Hotel. The hotel is located in Kegworth Village. It is both modern and stylish, situated just five minutes away from East Midlands Airport, and close to the M1 motorway.
The hotel has just been fully renovated in 2024 (opening June 2024). You can even take a swim in the pool at the location. (bring your swimwear). Or you like to socialise? we even have our own Private RAFP Police Bar!!!
About the Reunion
The reunion you have been waiting for!!
The reunion will start on 17th of April 2026. Arrival times from 2pm. You can then settle into your hotel room. Then if you wish, wander down to the event room and Bar and Meet. In the evening there will be a buffet style meal with a Tramps Supper. (see menu page)
Wake up to a breakfast on the 18th, and do exactly what you want during the day.
Around 7pm we will again meet in the event room Bar for a chat and beer. At 8pm there will be our celebration sit down meal. We hope to have a raffle with some prizes and some other entertainment (to be sorted).
On the 19th you can again go down for breakfast after which it is time to say the goodbyes.

Large Meeting room
The meeting room is our private function room with our own dedicated police bar.
What will it cost?
To enable us to sit down in our large private room for two nights the cost to us is £500.00 for up to 100 people.
To cover this and other incidentals such as administration costs, table dressing and decorations, etc, we are asking every person wishing to attend to pay a booking fee of £12.00 per person, (non refundable) on this website prior to the event. This will include anyone wishing say, just to stay one night only.
PLEASE NOTE: This is in addition to the discounted accommodation costs below.
If there are any remaining funds we propose to donate the excess to charity. We will hold a vote on the Saturday night.
Friday and Saturday night meals
We have set the Friday night is themed as a TRAMPS Supper, together with a buffet style meal. There will be tables of ten set up in the event room. Also in the event room there is our own dedicated Police Bar.
On the Saturday night a three course sit down meal, laid out as above with round tables, and again the dedicated Police Bar in the event room.
We will ask you for your preferences for the Saturday night meal after you have completed the Secure your Place booking form.

This is possible, You will need to book your place from this website in the beginning. However you will have to book your evening meals separately with the Yew Lodge Hotel. However remember the drink drive laws and Taxi fares.

I have been asked about just attending the Saturday night. Help wanted
Could you help. It has come to notice that there are ex RAFP from Laarbruch that may not have email or internet contact. So they may not know about this Laarbruch event. If you know someone who is like this, then maybe you could contact them, or send me (TC) the contact details, so i can contact them. I can take over the phone debt card bookings if so required to do so. However I will need all the details from them to send out the menu selection etc. Please use the contact page if you have any information. My contact details are on there. I have also contacted Neil Gardener for list from the 2000's events, however these will be really out of date. Hope you can help
