Yes you can’t believe it! Graham Cassell is going to be 90 this coming year. So TB and my self (TC) will once again enter the breach and with Neil Gardener organise a 90th Birthday Celebration.
We hope to have some really good entertainment for him and you to enjoy the evening. This of course comes at a cost. So we are asking for a booking fee of £15.00 per person.
The event is open to anyone who served with him or knew him, to join in the fun.
We have up to date had quite a large response to this event, so early booking is advised.

The Royal Air Force Police Reunion, for all those who served with Graham Cassels
The RAFP Reunion event has been organised for all you “sand bagger’s” who want to celebrate Grahams 90th Birthday. It is open to all ex RAF Police service personnel, who served with or knew him. (This includes partners of those who served and any friends). Rekindling former work and friend relationships.
The venue is at Crown Plaza Hotel. The hotel is located in Kegworth Village. It is both modern and stylish, situated just five minutes away from East Midlands Airport, and close to the M1 motorway.
The hotel has just been fully renovated 2024. You can even take a swim in the pool at the location. (bring your swimwear). Or you like to socialise? we even have our own Private RAFP Police Bar on the Saturday night.

About the 90th Birthday party
The next reunion you have been waiting for!! 90th Bithday Celebration...
The reunion / celebration will start with an informal meet and greet on Friday 9th April 2027 at around 5pm. We will be in the Bar / Restaurant area.
You can arrive from 2pm. This then allows you to settle into your hotel room. Then if you wish, then join everyone in the club bar for a meet.
You can then if you wish eat from either the Bar Menu or the Restaurant (Added to your bill when you leave).
Wake up to a breakfast on the Saturday, and do exactly what you want during the day.
Around 6 pm we will meet in the Ash Suite event room for a chat and beer with our own. At 7 pm there will be our 90th Birthday celebration sit down meal. We hope to have a raffle with some prizes and some special live entertainment.
On the Sunday you can again go down for breakfast after which it is time to say the goodbyes.
RAF Police Reunion is coming
Yes another large RAFP reunion. All ex RAFP's and relatives are invited who knew Graham Cassell for his 90th Birthday celebration. Includes all previous stations and civil connections.

Large Meeting room
The meeting room is our private function room with our own dedicated police bar.
What will it cost?
To enable us to sit down in our large private room for one night the cost to us is £250.00 for up to 100 people.
To cover this and other incidentals such as administration costs, table dressing and decorations, etc, we are asking every person wishing to attend to pay a booking fee of £15.00 per person, (non refundable) on this website prior to the event. This will include anyone wishing say, just to stay one night only.
PLEASE NOTE: This is in addition to the discounted accommodation costs below.
If there are any remaining funds we propose to donate the excess to charity. We will hold a vote on the Saturday night.
Special Room rates have been arranged with the hotel. Please quote RAF Police 90th Birthday when booking.
The rates are:
Friday 9th April – Bed and breakfast rate of £99 single occupancy, £109 double occupancy.
Saturday 10th April – Dinner, bed and breakfast rate of £130 single occupancy, £165 double occupancy (to include a 3-course dinner).
Those only attending the the Saturday event, the 3 Course Meal will cost £35.00. You will pay for the meal at the reception on your arrival. However you must book before hand and not just turn up.
Saturday 90th Birthday Celebration meal
There will be tables of ten set up in the event room. Also in the event room there is our own dedicated Police Bar.
On the 90th Birthday Celebration night a three course sit down meal, laid out as above with round tables, and again the dedicated Police Bar in the event room.
We will ask you for your preferences for the Saturday night meal (to be arranged) after you have completed the Secure your Place booking form.
